  I have worked across from Big Dad's pie for nearly six months and never really thought about going over there due to not being a pie fanatic. Recently I was torn on what to have for lunch so I decided to head on over, so I stumbled on over and bought a meat pie with potato on top, it was hands down the best pie I have ever had in my life, since then I have been back several times and every time my expectations are exceeded, the only bad thing I have to say is that when you get to the end you wish there was more! To people who love a good pie and great service I say go over there and try it yourself, best in town. Would recommend!!!!

  Average at best. Nice top pastry but base is doughey and undercooked. Also not pinched to the top pastry so pie wants to fall apart as u eat it. Fillings bit mediocre, chunky is definitely not Chunky...lamb n rosemary tasted nice, steak n kidney only tasted of mince. 1st and last visit. Award winning at competition....but Not in Store.
